i purchased these towels to take with us when traveling for swim meets. they are lightweight and easy to pack - we were having trouble with the regular towels drying in the hotel but these dry much more quickly. we are still getting used to the thinner material - these are definitely not thick, luxurious towels, but def do the trick.After a lifetime of taking regular towels to the beach and brining half of the sand home with me I finally went to buy this sand free towel. The reviews were great but I was skeptical. I used it for the first time today and OH MY GOODNESS it is amazing! Even when it's been down on the sand it still doesn't stick to the towel when you pick it up. It's microfiber which feels totally different than a regular towel and even though it does dry you off a bit I'm not sure how great it would work when you're soaking wet. But if you're like me and you go to the beach and mostly air dry, this towel is great to sit on or brush the sand off of you. AMAZING product! And its SO tiny rolled up in my beach bag where my other regular towel would take up half of my beach bad. highly recommendI love this towel! But remember anything wet in your bag will get the towel soaked. I had my bag on the beach and it wasn’t waterproof. The water from the sand got absorbed through the towel and it was soaked! But good towel over all and it dries quicklyWhen I opened this, I was pretty skeptical: it feels like a 2-layer bedsheet (albeit a thick one). But after taking it to family camp for a week, and 2 washes later, I'm a true believer. It absorbs enough to dry you off, and dries out over night. Sand and dirt shake off of it no problem. And it even appears to get softer over time. Our car was PACKED, so with 4 beach towels needed, I was thrilled to cut volume by 75%. Great for traveling. Rolls up and takes little room.The towel is lightweight, drys quickly, and overall is a nice towel.The stitching on the edge is done in a way that makes it more susceptible to possibly snagging so, we’ll have to see how it holds up.
