For the money, it’s pretty good at what it does.I believe this is mostly amazing for traveling, because it will flattens the clothes so well, and they are so evenly and wrinkle free. It is truly amazing. If you think of this product as a way to folding clothes faster and easier, think twice. You might spend the same time than folding it yourself, only it wont be as good. But it is kind of easier, and fun. If you think of this device as a way to fold clothes BETTER, then you are correct. Despite the efforts of laying the garment on the Miracle fold, IT WILL DO A PERFECT JOB, so if that is what you want, then this is perfect for you.I dont know why I bought this. It was an impulse. I saw a video on youtube with this, and loved how all the shirts were packed perfectly, and I wanted one. But I usually hang my clothes, not fold them! However, I did realize recently that I can rearrange my closet and by folding my clothes I can have more space, so I will give it more use now that I buy a drawer, and reorganize my stuff. Every cloth is folded exactly as the last one, which is the most impressive thing. They are very flat, so you save a lot of space.The only negative things I would say is that you have to spend some time making sure the shirts are correctly put on (so they dont get wrinkled) but I learn that if you take them by the top of the arm (where the sewing ends/starts/idontknow) it goes smoothly on the surface of the miracle fold so you dont have to arrange much. Long sleeves shirts, you have to insert the sleeves inside the square of the Miracle fold. But when you get the hang of it you do it all fast and it is faster and more fun than folding it yourself. Also, you need to put the shirt EXACTLY IN THE CENTER or it wont fold perfectly.Good design, good color, looks like a masterpiece, good plastic, this is awesome. I would mostly recommend this to those who absolutely do not know how to fold (like me) but if you hang your clothes think twice about buying this. Also, if you have a big family and you fold lots of clothes then you MUST buy this. But if you have little kids you might want to consider also buying the mini flip and fold (I dont know if they have a mini miracle fold) for toodlers and 4-8 year old kids. Look at the dimensions of the product and measure the clothes, if it covers the whole Miracle fold, then get it. If it only covers a portion of the measurement of the miracle fold, then it wont really fold anything.I think I will order one for my sister, she has a big family of four men (actually 3 kids, but only one is under 8, and I am not buying a mini folding for only one kid, so she'll have to do it manually) and they use drawers to store their clothes, so this will be extremely useful for her.It works fairly well. I think sweaters and towels will be difficult. I can see the concern regarding sturdiness. The joints will probably fail in short order. Buying a cheaper knock off may make sense if you have to replace every 6 to 12 months.I LOVE LOVE LOVE, this product. The folding process is so easy and gives the look of neatness!!! Towels, shirts, pants, etc., Yes it's wrinkle free, and sturdy. I've had a Flip Fold for over 10 years now & purchased their newer models. When I discovered how wonderful everything looked I actually stayed up overnight and did all of my dressers that were in the home and the linen closet. At that time my husband and my dog that I was crazy but it was so worth the effort.I wanted to show my fiance that folding his shirts doesn't have to be so scary and this product has pretty much alleviated his anxiety towards the chore (though laundry itself can still be a little daunting). He would always send his clothes out to be washed and folded, but now that we have a laundry unit in our own apartment, I felt I needed a product that could help me fold his shirts perfectly like they did at the laundromat while also allowing him to be able to do it himself if I was away.The laundry folder helps cut down time tremendously on folding shirts and does it near perfect. I find that it can be a little difficult to get a perfect fold using the folder all on its own . I mainly use this product to help me fold the sides of the shirt (the part I can spend far too long on without this product due to wanting that perfect fold!).What I find works is:-Place shirt, face down, on the folder where the top of the shirt is an 1/2 - 1 in below the top of the folder and centered.-If long sleeved, fold sleeves in half so it have the sleeve length of a short sleeved shirt.-If any of the shirt is hanging off the bottom of the folder, fold up onto the orange the part that is hanging off so that all of the shirt is within the orange bounds.-Then you can pull in the left side and then the right.-I find the bottom of the folder doesn't work so well at finishing off the last part of the fold, so I bring the bottom of the folded shirt up to the top by hand.(**Note: if you can understand my directions, bravo)All in all it takes me about 30 seconds to fold a shirt once I get in the groove of it.I bought this board in 2013. At that time only the orange color was available. I wish it came in neutral colors like white, black or beige. I use it every week to fold tshirts, sweatshirts and seasonal items before putting them away for next season. About 4 years ago the bottom part broke but I like the board so much that instead of tossing it I attached it with a duct tape and voila!I spend as much time and energy to lay the shirts down nicely prior to the folds if I do it all myself. Also it's meant more for medium/large shirts. If you have X-Large shirt, then you have to pre-fold the ends slightly so they would be withing the margins of the board. Lastly it makes the folded clothes smaller in area, but thicker, and depending on the shelf space you have, and may not use the space efficiently if you fold it yourself. Overall it's not worth the $31 I paid for...I love this MiracleFold laundry folder! It is very easy to use and it folds garments perfectly! I bought this piece years ago and I have not once folded a T-shirt without it since the day I received it! Results in perfect folds each and every time! The quality of this piece is also incredible. Very sturdy piece with no flimsiness whatsoever. Highly recommended and I would definitely purchase this again for myself or as gifts for others!Don't bother. This looked really cool on "The Big Bang Theory" but it is a solution looking for a problem. Lay your t-shirt out manually and fold it the same way, arms and sides in and bring up the bottom - just as fast and doesn't take up any room. Save your money. Another piece of plastic "stuff" that isn't needed.I love this thing as much as I hate laundry. Without it my pile of clothes would be touching the roof. It takes all the work out of my worst job, folding shirts and sweaters, hoodies, pants. I also feel very Big Bang nerd connections when I use it. The little hanger thing that comes with it broke early on but that is a mere trifle compared to the joy this simple invention brings to my most hated chore.great for the anal retentive in me. Folds my boys shirts nicely. I do worry about the longevity of the plastic "hinges".
